The Dixie Little League needed a little help to compete in a regional competition in California.  Thankfully, the St George Lions Club was able to help these great kids.  Although the team wished they had performed better at the event, they had a wonderful growth opportunity just through participation.  We wish them well.

The Washington County Fair Parade was held this morning.  Lions member Rodney Hoppal, from Reliable Maytag on Bluff St, was in charge of getting our float all put together for us.  He did a great job and dropped off these pictures.

Dixie Rodeo Club, attached to Dixie High School, participated in a major competition.  They needed some funding help in order to participate.  The Lions Club was able to provide some of their funding.  They sent this nice note and photo.  What a great looking group of kids!  

Mr. Robert Cowles was able to make the trip to Boys State this year. Boys State is a great growing experience for young men. They have the opportunity to learn about the political process and the detailed workings of politicking. Robert sent us this thank you note.
