Your St George Lions club is a busy group. Not only are we getting our hands dirty with community service projects like benches for the college and eagle scout projects, we are making significant contributions back to the community with financial donations. At our last board meeting, we looked at the details of our financial contributions.
The local club donated over $51,000 back to the community. Some of those donations were:
- Dixie State College Scholarships
- Sterling Scholar
- Academic Decathalon
- Leadership Academy
- Dixie State College exercise path improvements
- Boy Scouts
- Ms. Rodeo Utah
- State 4H
- Dixie High School
- Dixie Regional Medical Center for Cancer Research
- Eyeglasses for the needy
If your club or organization is needing some special help, please contact us. We might be in a position to assist. When it comes time to visit the Dixie RoundUp Rodeo, or the annual Horse Race event, please support the event fully with your participation. Your financial support is recirculated locally.
